Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Options

More and more publishers are interested in processing orders electronically using files received from distributors, wholesalers, bookstore chains, PubNet, and other resellers, or from information captured on a web site or through a call center order processing service. The Cat’s Pajamas has solutions available for these and many other different types of EDI processing:

Through a website or call center:

• Process a batch of prepaid orders captured on a web site, creating new customer records as needed

• B2B: Process orders from businesses or sales reps

Interface with third-party EDI-translator software:

• Upload purchase orders from trading partners and automatically create invoices in Cat’s Pajamas (850)

• Automatically create an output file with information about the disposition of every line of the original order (Purchase Order Acknowledgement) (855)
