Encrypt Credit Card Information

With the rapid increase in e-commerce, many businesses are becoming increasingly concerned about the security and privacy of customer credit-card information. Cat’s Pajamas Release 4.1 offers new options to implement additional credit-card security routines.

Implement encryption in one of two levels:

Level One:

Encrypt credit-card information in data files, but view or print without encryption

Level Two:

•  Encrypt credit-card information in data files

•  When credit-card information is viewed or printed, only the last “x” characters of the credit-card number are visible, except in secured programs, where the entire credit card number is visible.
