Interface with RFID Systems

Publishers that implement a warehouse management system that supports RFID may benefit from integrating it and Cat’s Pajamas. Several interfaces are possible.

The Cat’s enhanced inventory update module can be customized to import a file of inventory transactions from the warehouse management system, such as receipts, issues, transfers, and moves (if that option is active). The module to process physical inventory can be customized, also, to import a file of inventory counts. Packing information can be exported from the invoice-printing module, either in addition to or instead of printing. Shipment tracking information can be imported into Cat’s to confirm shipments, trigger email shipment notifications, and capture shipment tracking information.
