eCommerce: Upload Prepaid Orders from WebsiteAn increasing number of publishers accept orders from a shopping cart on a web site. When the volume is small, it takes little time to enter these into Cat’s. As order volume increases a point is reached when it would be more efficient to import these directly into Cat’s with minimal operator intervention. Typically, this is done in a batch process one or more times a day or week. Prepaid orders may come from new or repeat customers. The Cat’s eCommerce module can be customized to automate all of the decisions typically made by an operator entering a new customer or searching for an existing customer. Often, payment information for shopping cart orders is minimal as payment is processed within the secured shopping cart environment. Discounts and shipping policies for shopping cart orders may be different from discounts and shipping for regular orders.
