Interface with Third-party Credit/Bank Card Processing Software, such as ICVerifyStandard Cat’s Pajamas systems allow operators to enter credit-card payment information. The payment information prints on a report or credit-card form. Publishers that spend more than fifteen minutes a day or an hour a week manually processing credit cards for payment may wish to consider adding an option to Cat’s Pajamas to export credit-card payment data, instead. Most credit-card payment software can import data from other applications. Typically, the software requires a transaction code, an invoice number, the credit-card number, an expiration date, and a payment amount. Publishers using address verification services (AVS) may require additional information, such as the bill-to customer address and zip code information. Some publishers pre-authorize some credit-card payments and wish to export this information, too. The Cat’s Pajamas can be customized to export such credit-card payment data to a file. Your bank or credit-card-processing center can provide information about software for processing payments. The software company will provide information about the data-import capabilities and requirements of the software. Cat’s Pajamas publishers use a variety of credit-card processing software programs, such as IC Verify. For more details, read Credit Card Transfer Files. For more information, email your questions (including your name and company name) or call at 800-827-2287. Please provide the name of your credit-card processing software and a copy of its data-import requirements. |
