Promotion/Price Table

Do promotional campaigns frequently include special prices or discounts for certain items? If so, this module can automate the process of assigning special prices for items for specific promotional order source codes. Or it can vary discounts for the items on the promotion.

The Promotion/Price Table module allows an operator to associate source codes with particular products eligible for a special price or discount. The prices or discounts can be conditioned by quantity. After installation, the table is user-maintained – no additional programming is necessary. Module includes features to view table information when entering an order. View or print existing tables.

When an order is entered with a promotional source code for which price or discount changes are defined in the table, the price/discount information in the table is applied automatically to the items on the order. The order-entry operator can override the price or discount change. Items receiving promotional prices or discounts may still be eligible for any discount defined for the customer and book discount groups, depending on your policies.

The promotion/price table does not necessarily affect credit memos – or the credit module can be customized to use the promotion/price table.
