Reverse Consignment Notice

Consignment orders can involve many – perhaps hundreds – of titles. And if the entire shipment comes back, it may take quite a bit of time to process the return from the consignee.

The program to reverse a consignment invoice provides an easier way to handle situations where a shipped consignment shipment is returned or where the consigned stock has gone astray or where there is some other reason for reversing the consignment shipment. Specify the ship-to account and the invoice number; choose whether to restock inventory and a restocking warehouse; and enter a reason for the reversal. The program writes reversing consignment transactions and optionally returns stock to inventory – if the operator requested that.

This program is standard with new systems that include consignment processing. It can be added to systems with older consignment processing modules.
