Database Platform

Cat's Pajamas does not use a relational database structure. We are less than optimistic about the current vogue for Relational Database  Management Systems (RDBMS). Such databases are inherently slow and unstable. The Cat's Pajamas system is more stable and runs 4-5 times faster than do RDBMS systems.

Relational database systems may be easier to program, but shouldn't software systems put the user first and programming convenience second? This is the context of our decisions in the following areas.
